The John Rupert Theatre is proud to host this special one-man show, Oom Schalk, from the Heart. Professional Cape Town actor David Muller stars and theatre doyen, Celia Musikanth directs this dramatisation of some of the best Herman Charles Bosman’s Schalk Lourens stories, some short and some tall. But all entertaining!
Although this is the first time he'll be gracing the John Rupert's stage, David is no stranger to our town. He attended the Teachers Training College in the late sixties and was a regular child visitor to the Kingwill’s farm, Gordonville in the fifties.
There will be an interval, and refreshments will be available.
