This old Karoo home, circa 1856, has been transformed into a small boutique-type accommodation centrally situated in Graaff-Reinet, the jewel of the Karoo. Our guesthouse, named Aa'Qtansisi, is derived from the authentic original Khoisan language, meaning "We welcome You". Old pertinent newspaper articles have been pasted on the wall which makes for interesting reading. The building was at one time was a seminary for ladies. Plenty of quiet nooks and crannies exist where one can find tranquility. While there, have a go at pronouncing Aa'Qtansisi!

Wheel Chair Friendly
Room 5 is wheel-chair accessible, has an en-suite bathroom with a bath with hand-rails and a shower with seating and hand rails. There is also a raised toilet and accessible wash basin. There are 2 extra-length beds in the bedroom. Parking next to room is provided, with no steps into the room.
