Andries Stockenström Guest House in Graaff-Reinet is widely known for its cuisine, being also the home of renowned Gordon's Restaurant where food is taken very seriously, only the freshest and is the stuff that great memories are made of.

As a guest here in this characterful and comfortable guest house you will share this wonderful culinary experience.  Much of the food comes from our own organic vegetable garden at the back.

The house is an old manor style house which was built around 1819 on a plot belonging to Andries Stockenström, the deputy governor of the Eastern Cape, and is now a National Monument.  The yellowwood floors are original, the bedrooms are cosy with those little extras over and above the usual amentities which show the care taken over you, our guest.

Altogether there are seven individually decorated rooms or suites, all with king sized beds.  The only difference in appointments is that some have full bathrooms while others have shower only bathrooms.
